Bag dust collector and cyclone dust collector have significant differences in working principle, structural characteristics, and scope of application.
Working principle Cyclone dust collector: Use centrifugal force to separate dust particles from dust-laden gas. When dust-laden gas enters the dust collector from the tangential direction, the dust particles are thrown to the wall of the device due to the centrifugal force, and then fall into the dust collecting box by downward momentum and gravity, and the purified gas is discharged through the exhaust pipe. Bag dust collector: Capture dust particles in dust-laden flue gas through the filter layer (usually a filter bag made of organic fiber or inorganic fiber fabric). After the dust-laden gas enters the box, the dust adheres to the surface of the filter cloth, and the clean gas is discharged through the pores of the filter cloth. The dust on the filter cloth is separated from the filter cloth by backblowing or vibration and falls into the hopper. Structural features Cyclone dust collector: Simple structure, easy to manufacture, no moving parts, so durable. Suitable for handling high-temperature and high-humidity flue gas and corrosive gases. Bag dust collector: It is mainly composed of filter bags, bag racks and shells, and its structure is relatively complex. The filter bag is installed on the partition between the box and the clean air chamber, which is suitable for capturing particles below 20μm, and the capture efficiency is as high as 99% or more. Scope of application Cyclone dust collector: It is suitable for treating gases with high dust content, with a separation efficiency between 50% and 80%, and is suitable for abrasive materials and high temperature and high humidity environments. Bag dust collector: It has high capture efficiency, especially for fine particles, and is suitable for occasions requiring high-precision dust removal. In summary, cyclone dust collectors are suitable for treating high-temperature and high-humidity flue gas and corrosive gases, while bag dust collectors are suitable for occasions requiring high-precision dust removal. Both have their own advantages in working principles, structural characteristics and scope of application.
